EDP Platform

In the drinks trade, accurate data and efficient processes are essential. From managing product details to setting prices and keeping customers informed, the ability to connect seamlessly with industry partners can make all the difference. That’s why at De Facto Software, we’ve developed powerful integrations that link our ERP solutions directly with third-party services.

One example for the drinks sector is our partnership with Liv-ex, the global marketplace for wine trading. By integrating with Liv-ex’s APIs, we provide businesses with the ability to automate data flows, enrich product content, and provide customers with trusted market insights.

Seamless Connections Across Your Supply Chain

Our ERP is designed to make it simple to connect with external stakeholders — whether customers, suppliers, warehouses, or third-party platforms. Configurable inbound and outbound processes allow businesses to securely exchange data, documents, and messages through email, web services, or file storage.

For drinks businesses, this means less time spent on repetitive admin tasks and more time focused on what really matters: sourcing, selling, and trading.

Case Study

Working with Seckford Fine Wines, we integrated their De Facto powered E-Commerce website with Liv-ex’s API suite to deliver real benefits at every stage of their trading process.

  • Cleaner product data: Using the Liv-ex Wine Identification Number (LWIN) search API, Seckford can now build product records based on the LWIN database, ensuring consistency and accuracy. When a wine arrives without an LWIN, they can request one and trust it will be categorised correctly.
  • Rich content: Pairing products with LWIN codes unlocks further data, including ABV and Commodity Codes, while the Critics API provides ratings and tasting notes from leading publications such as Inside Bordeaux, Vinous, and The Wine Independent. This detail enhances online product pages and wine list downloads.
  • Market confidence: Liv-ex’s position as a trading marketplace means Seckford’s customers also gain access to up-to-date pricing and confidence ratings, helping them make informed trading decisions and accurately value their reserves.

The result is a system that streamlines admin, improves the customer experience and trust, and strengthens trading opportunities.
