Hatch Mansfield was one of the first customers to take up the new de Facto S5 Business Intelligence module.
Paul Hughes-D'Aeth, Financial Director of Hatch Mansfield shared how they are using BI: "We create our data cubes both overnight and at lunchtimes in order to give us up to date positions on all our processes and transactions. We use BI heavily, creating a whole host of sales and market reports, all tailored to our specific requirements.

The single biggest benefit to us has been that it has enabled our sales team to become entirely self sufficient with respect to information and reports. Previously they'd receive various fixed reports. Of course this meant that if the information they required was not in those reports then it was difficult for them to have access to it. Now, with the ability to interactively interrogate this single source of data, they've got all the information they need for all of their activities. |

One result of implementing S5 BI is that we as a company need far fewer reports. Previously we'd have hundreds of specialised reports, and frankly it was sometimes difficult to always remember exactly what every single one did! Now we have fewer basic reports, but the powerful Business Intelligence functionality enables them to provide for a whole array of company needs.
S5 Business Intelligence is really easy to use, is not at all 'techy' and doesn't require anyone to get 'under the bonnet and know programming. We've had BI installed now for 9 months, and are very pleased with the solution and the results," concluded Paul Hughes-D'Aeth.
