Banham Poultry to implement de Facto S5 iWMS

 Chicken Processing and Distribution company to use integrated Warehouse Management System

Banham Poultry will implement the Warehouse Management System (WMS) module of de Facto S5 in the upcoming months. de Facto S5 with WMS will replace the various separate business systems which Banham currently use.

de Facto S5 WMS will initially pick up orders from Banham's existing ERP system, then pass them to their production system in a systematic and effective manner. As newly produced goods come out of production they will be scanned, given serial numbers and catchweights. After being palletised and picked they will be available to be despatched as required. The despatch process will therefore become more efficient, with considerably increased flexibility. With far greater visibility of what is coming out of production, Banham will be able palletise in advance. Accuracy of production will be improved through direct scanning of products. Distribution will also be improved through utilisation of WMS, with faster loading and turnaround of shipments. Stock can be easily allocated as it emerges from Production.

Banham Poultry - Transport Fleet

The implementation of WMS will be configured specifically to suit Banham's business activities. S5 WMS is highly configurable, and able to adapt to a wide variety of marketplaces and business methods. The implementation of WMS is currently underway.

De Facto Software will gradually migrate all of Banham's systems over to S5's Financials, Logistics and CRM modules, and provide the powerful S5 Business Intelligence (BI) modules by summer 2008. As Banhams's existing separate systems are gradually replaced with a single integrated business system (S5), Banham Poultry will benefit from improved efficiency, accuracy and visibility of processes.
