De
Facto Software are pleased to announce the
release of version 4.7 of de Facto S5 Accounting and ERP software.
The latest release of de Facto S5 features a number of enhancements
which provide the user with increased functionality. Further
enhancements focus on ease of use, leading to greater efficiency
of operation
and consequent gains in productivity.
Some
of the key areas of development in v4.7 are in the S5 Production module:
Back
to Back Works Orders and Purchase Orders
Works Orders can now be 'Back to Backed' to Purchase Orders.
As a result, any quantity changes which are made to one
are automatically and instantly reflected in the other.
Production
Planning Enhancements
A new 'Resources' option in the production planning window can now be used to
display operations which are automatically added to Works Orders generated from
Production Planning.
The
'mini
MRP
window'
opened from Sales Orders can now load and display ordered quantities into
a 'today's requirement' column.
The
Expediting Window now provides a production menu, which gives
access to the 'Made From' and 'Where Used' details from production. Works
Order Quick Process and Outside Processing
Works Order Quick Processing can now use components from Multiple Warehouses.
This would be particularly useful for a sub contract warehouse, where components
are already held by the sub contractor.
Outside
Processing
Works
Orders
can
now have
a
default
supplier
defined.
Works
Order
Quick Processing allows the input of Lot or Serial Numbers on outputs
where applicable. Calculated
Costing of Bills of Materials
A new Calculated Costing facility allows Standard Costs to be calculated for
Bills of Materials and then stored for comparison to Actual Costs on each Works
Order.
Instant access
to Latest Calculated and Actual Costs have been enabled on a number of
windows in de Facto S5 through incorporating a Costing button into their
respective screens.
