New Release of de Facto S5 - v4.3

 De Facto Software are pleased to announce the release of version 4.3 of de Facto S5 Accounting and Business Management software.


A host of new features have been incorporated in this release, as well as further enhancements to existing features. The key areas of S5 which have seen the most significant developments in this new release are:

Purchase Order Processing
The Purchase Order Processing module features new integrated processes for the handling of supplier returns and credit processing, including the ability to pick, pack, dispatch and process credits from suppliers.

Payment costing facilities for those dealing with open price orders have been extended. This release provides flexible user configurable costing methods, which are able to look at the underlying sales and production data connected to the product being paid for.

Sales Order Processing
The Sales Order Processing module now has a new profit control system, which has been integrated into sales quotations and order processing. This allows the easy control over profit margin percentage and value by the user. It further allows easy access to the price and discount history for both the sale, and for potential required purchases. Full logging of any authorised margin overrides is provided, as is the ability to handle cost price control for non stock items.

Filing Cabinets and Document Storage
The Filing Cabinets and Document Storage facilities have been enhanced to allow direct access to TWAIN compatible devices i.e. scanners and cameras from within the filing cabinet. The user interface for the filing cabinet has also been streamlined, for faster and easier operation
.

CRM Time Recording
CRM Time Recording provides the ability to record time against an event or task, and to compare this with the estimated time. A full history is maintained over the time booked. Users can simply log onto and off of tasks as they wish throughout the day. Multiple users can book time against the same task, if required. Future releases will see integration between the time recording and the job costing time sheets.

CRM Threading
CRM Threading provides the ability to manage threaded events to any number of levels. It further allows the user to quickly explore both the origin and result of any threaded conversation that has been recorded through events.
