Anglia Crown to upgrade to the de Facto S5 ERP and Accounting Software
Anglia Crown are one of the UK's leading producers and distributors of high quality ready meals designed specifically for hospitals and nursing homes. Based in Colchester and Manchester, Anglia Crown are to upgrade to de Facto S5 from their existing de Facto Financials and Logistics system.
Specialising in the production and marketing of delivered chilled and frozen meals, Anglia Crown are focussed solely on healthcare catering. From their two UK production units they supply chilled and frozen meals to over 80 NHS hospitals, in more than 20 NHS trusts.
Using their 'delivered ready meals' solution, meals are cooked and packed in offsite food factories. They are then rapidly chilled to either +3C to keep them fresh, or blast frozen to -20C in the case of frozen food. In each case they are then delivered to hospitals in temperature controlled trucks.
Anglia Crown produce an extensive range of over 500 items, ranging from soups to desserts, and casseroles to risottos. They also provide Kosher, Halal, Vegetarian and other niche market foods, such as Moditex.
Implementing the Solution
Anglia Crown will utilise both the Financials and Logistics suites, and will be adding a number of extra facilities which will be then be incorporated in versions 4.6 and 4.7 of de Facto S5. Implementation will be completed by 1 September 2004.
