eServices is built using Microsoft's powerful .Net platform, which provides ease of expansion of the system, inbuilt security, and the ability to seamlessly integrate with other systems such as Microsoft Office and with non-Microsoft systems.

With the powerful security features from .Net, you can easily configure the system to completely control both role and user based security, and set security levels on your products from sections of the site right down to individual items on a page.

Business Management and Instant Product Visibility

With S5 eServices, you don't need to re-key or extract data from our accounting and logistics systems into the eServices engine. eServices is fully integrated into S5, and positively extends its capabilities into today's most thriving marketplace.

Typical bolt on or separate third party solutions require you to periodically publish the required data, resulting in information that is not fully up to date, and attendant synchronization problems. With eServices though, the data is taken straight from our S5 ERP system, with the consequent immediate visibility and accuracy of data.

Consistent and Flexible Content Management

Our solution allows you to easily integrate your existing website information with its existing look and feel into eServices. Import your current branding so you don't lose your investment in your existing site.

eServices enables you to edit your existing content either online, or through download and edit, or you can allow external parties to maintain the content. The choice is yours, and our flexible system accommodates your desired method of working. We provide the tools for you to easily create new sections, making as simple or complicated a site as you want.

The static content can include elements of dynamic eServices data directly from S5, and vice-versa. So your marketing data can have appropriate product selling opportunities interspersed. And your product catalogue can have links and sections of relevant marketing materials alongside. Our flexible system is highly configurable enabling you to maximize your efforts, without the need for expensive programming or website designers.

eServices Browser

From here your user can view what products are available, what stock you've got, and where it is. This component of the system is extremely easy to use, and has a highly configurable structure, allowing for a very high degree of customization. For example, navigation through products can be via a menu bar, a tree structure, or as a series of lists.

You can configure the ways in which the user might find the product they are looking for, and there is also a product search engine which forms part of the product browser.

Additionally due to the integrated data availability this browser need not be limited to product data; any data available within de Facto S5 can be published to a web page (for internal or external use). Typical applications include order history, account history, CRM details, copy documents (e.g. invoice, statement).

Ordering - Sales Orders or Quotations

Our solution allows your users to quickly and easily find the products they want, and to arrange payment for them. They can query how much something is going to cost at various quantities and varieties, etc, and also arrange for a quotation request.

The system administrator can choose to exclude new customers and allow only existing customers to order via the web, or the system may be opened up so that anyone can place orders. Again, the system is highly configurable.

Ordering can be done by raising an order or quotation request, which is then reflected automatically in de Facto S5.

Efficient Order Tracking and Reporting

Your user typically wants to see where their order is at any moment in time, and eServices allows them to interrogate the system to find precise details of order status. Order tracking could be linked with de Facto's warehouse management system, or warehouse information, or stock control tracking.

de Facto S5 allows the system administrator to analyse the trends of orders, and provides easy to use reporting facilities to view the results of that analysis using graphs and tabular data.

Customer Intelligent

eServices includes powerful features which enable effecting cross selling of products. The system can be set up with linked products, so upon choosing a product the system will then give your customer a list of related products that they might also be interested in.

The system employs a powerful 'related products' engine. So when, for example, a customer orders a particular engineering part, if it's necessary to use it alongside another part, the system will automatically suggest that part to the purchaser. In addition, the system can also display what other customers who bought this product also bought.

Seamless Integration

de Facto S5 features seamless integration between its powerful eServices functionality and the rest of the business management ERP system. As such, it eliminates the re keying of data, it ensures accurate, up to the minute and transparent data right across the system, and thereby helps you to reduce expenses, and increase sales.
